Tabletop definition

Tabletop is the part of the commercial industry. It describes works with highspeed/slow-motion cameras such as Phantom, special motion control robots like Bolt and customize rig. A tabletop director is mostly focused on food but also can work with different tasks including demo products and other techniques like slow-motion or is able to catch the moment of beauty invisible to a bare eye. A tabletop/foodfilm director works very often with special lenses like macro lenses, Frazier lenses or endoscope lenses. Not all shoots need highspeed camera Phantom, (especially foodfilm) some of them can be done by using regular movies cameras such as Alexa or Red. Tabletop directors are commercial artists whose goal is to make regular food look so irresistible that people want to eat the TV set.
